Wishbone 6th Annual Wag, Walk & Wine, Dog Walk
Wishbone Pet Rescue Alliance manages the Allegan County Animal Shelter and is excited to announce our 6th Annual Wag, Walk & Wine, Saturday, September 14. This year we are at the Wade Bayou Memorial Park in downtown Douglas, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year’s walk goes from the Bayou park to Lake MI. Enjoy our venue along the beautiful Kalamazoo river and stop at downtown Douglas merchants and see beautiful art or dine at one of the delicious restaurants. This year’s ticket price will also include a drink ticket for a free beverage at one of the local merchants. This event raises funds for the lost, homeless and neglected pets of Allegan County. This is going to be another fun event for the entire family, 2 or 4 legged! Event activities will include a 1-mile walk, shorter walk for senior dogs and little dogs, raffle prizes, door prizes, dog contests, dog presentation and much more!
Wishbone Pet Rescue Alliance is a non-profit that is committed to the pets and pet owners of Allegan County. Our volunteers and staff work hard every day to provide homeless, sick, and mistreated pets that come to the shelter with a fresh start, nutrition, and the medical attention they need. In addition to running the shelter, we also serve pet owners by offering low-cost spay, neuter, and vaccination clinics and we have partnered with food pantries in Allegan County to provide pet owners facing hardships with pet food for their beloved four-legged family members.
We are in need of sponsorships to underwrite this amazing family activity. Sponsorships range from $100 to $1,000. There will be perks for sponsors. Each level offers benefits for your business or individuals. We need assistance with expenses to reach our goal of $10,000. Can you help us reach our goal?
Top Dog Sponsor (1,000+) will be featured on all advertising, print and social media, as well as on a banner at the event. Promotional materials (from sponsor) will be included in goodie bags for registrants. Event t-shirt has a sponsor logo.
Champions (500-999) will be featured by their logo in all advertising print and social media. Sponsor promotional materials will be included in the goodie bag.
Canine Club (201-499) will be featured on signs at watering holes and rest stations.
Furry Friends (100 – 200) will be listed as special contributors at the site of the event.
