Female, 2.5 years old Dilute Calico
Hello. I’m Queenie. I came to the shelter back in February 2017 as a stray. I got used to fending for myself outside for a while, so I am pretty independent – which basically means I like to decide when I get attention. Don’t worry though, I will let you know when I’m ready with a soft head-butt or a gentle tap on your hand with my paw. I tend to be a bit unsure about some people, so it might take a few times for us to meet before I feel comfortable around you. After that, I’m sure we can be great friends. My favorite thing to do is sit on a perch and watch all the critters outside through the window. I also like to play with my toys. As luck would have it, the name my shelter friends gave me – Queenie – really fits. I would prefer to be the “Queen of the Household” as I really don’t care for other cats. My friends at the shelter have been taking very good care of me, but I am ready to have a “fur-ever” home of my own now. If you are looking for an independent, affectionate companion, don’t read another profile. I am your new friend! You will be thrilled that you came to meet me and so will I.
